I'm not sure what "issues" there are with configuring postfix to use procmail for local delivery. I haven't tried it, but I use procmail with postfix through the .forward file and it works fine.


Create a ~/.forward file with these contents:
"|exec /usr/bin/procmail"

This forwards all local mail delivery (for that user) through procmail.
