I have seen other python crashes on install with RH 8. It gave me problems when I loaded my IBM A31p laptop.

Does RedHat have an updated install floppy disk? Does
RH 8.1 beta seem to fix some of these issues?

They don't have an updated floppy, and I don't know if beta fixes them, since I haven't seen any of those issues (;

OK.

I finally got the boxes working. I had to use copies of
RH 8.0 that I made on CD-R. The pressed discs were
not working properly. These were fresh, unopened boxes.
I usually have excellent results with pressed discs?
1. we removed the paradise controllers
2. we moved the drive jumpers around so we got 2 120G disks
3. we installed using CD-R media (copies of RH 8, not boxed RH 8)

Now we are up on 2 of 3 computers.....

We'll consider pogolinux next time.....

Thanks,
