That's very true. I mentioned a few days ago that there were a number of
2.6 features appearing in each new release of 2.4.22. I should mention
though that there seems to be a bug in each of these relating to
active_load_balance in sched. There's a messy work-around but it's
easier to use the korg release.

With respect to 2.6, it's a snap to compile and I had absolutely no
problem getting it to run. I thought however, that 2.6 offers no real
benefits at this time; Packages will have to catch up for 2.6 to realize
its potential. Of course I could be incorrect in that assumption.
