Re: 4tb NAS drive recommendation

FWIW, not sure if they are available in 4TB sizes: but for my home
server, I've been using the Helium-filled drives, originally from
Hitachi, now using Seagates as well. No issues, but this is a
terribly small sample size. What I like is that they have the heat
and power consumption characteristics of 5400rpm drives, but are
actually running at 7200rpm and the performance of such. They also
seem to fall in the "enterprise" lineup, so have longer warranties and
TLER. Last I bought some (a couple months ago), they were actually
cheaper than their non-helium equivalents.
