The point of contention is not in *what* you're marketing, but rather *how* you're marketing to the community. If you were to be the real person you advertise and say, "hey, everyone, my name is Samantha, and I do this, that, and the other stuff, and I'd like to describe my business," you'd have gotten a few less-than-desirable responses, for sure, but overall it would've been more than acceptable.
