...and there are MANY autors which offer there books for free as PDF.

I have already downloaded a bunch (maybe 70-90) of those PDF's and
some of them are realy good.  So since the books costs 40-70 Euro in
german book stores (France is much more expensive and translations
are REALY bad including O'Reilly ) I have contacted the autors and
ask them HOW can I pay my PDF-Copy of his/her book.

In most cases I was realy surprised, becase they do not want my money
and they told me that I am not the only one which want to pay for a
PDF-Copy if the books.

Things happen...
