Ummmm. No. The numbers you see in the newspaper/media are A) what goes into the record label, not the artist pocket, and B) for incredibly famous rock "stars" not all rock artists. You probably have made far more from your book than most rock artists, and surprisingly more than some of the rock "stars" with particularly bad contracts, or who have only had one "hit" song.
