I agree about Annie, she was not that great. She just got lucky and ended 
up being in the right place when it counted.

I agree with those statements.   I think Annie Libowitz 
is a total B!$&@ but other don't.    When I was an assistant 
Photographers where dicks all the time.   One of Tomoko's first 
question to me when we started dating was, " Do yo treat your assistance like 
shit?"   I just smiled and laughed.  She then said.   
Why are all photographers such a holes to their assistance?   That 
answer was easy.   They all suck at reading my mind.

      Ansel was not a very nice guy to talented photographers coming along. 
      I’m glad you’re happy with sugarcoating his memories, as I am not. The

      you could lift a 4x5, you were a competitor.

      The best thing AA ever did for me was to tell me I would never become 
      a photographer.
