Some years ago, one photographer submitted a very artistic pinhole photograph of a nude woman on the gallery of the World Pinhole Photography Day (it was in 2003, if my memory is right).
I was still on the steering group for that event and we had a very long discussion as to whether the picture was or not consistent with the (vague) rules for the event. It was finally decided that it was not and the group asked the photographer that he not post that picture.
He withdrew the picture and never participated again. Since then many nudes have been posted on the gallery, year after year.
Clearly we made the wrong decision. It seemed appropriate at the time given the nature of the issue (nude or no nude on a pinhole photography gallery such as ours), but in effect we were acting as moral censors.
Thank God the current group is much less stiff...

Now, Mark. How about some comments on the other photographs in the gallery!
