I went with the Eizo. Check out b&H for prices. It may be a bit more expensive, but I love mine.--Rene

Apple displays tend to be a bit saturated – good for designers but not so good for accurate softproofing of images

I tested a range of flat screen motors side by side including lacie, eizo, and apple

The colour  consistency across the screen with varying angle of view as well the accuracy of the softproofing were both effective discriminators and the eizo won hands down although it was slightly more expensive.
