I tried the slave with an Oly810 which has auto red-eye and manual. The other is a Panasonic DMC FZ8 which has the same plus a slow-sync/red eye. The FZ has IR focus in low light. It also has an amazing number of flash variables. I wonder if the cameras automatic exposure systems are set up to work only with their flash. The extra flash may throw everything off. I don't know if the camera flashes have a strobe "quench," or more likely, simply adjust exposure. I tried a bounce card over the camera flash to direct it to the side towards the slave. The image was underexposed which probably means the slave is firing too late. Be warned, RE red-eye problem - the smaller the camera the worse it is! Thanks, AZ Build a 120/35mm Lookaround!
