me: : Here's a new problem for Vista users, aside from all the others. argh.. email got away from me.. the othr problem in XP/Vista is that when you plug in an external device, the OS looks for a hardware toggle that labels the device as "removable". About 99.98% of USB keys are built this way. If the device declares itself to be removable, XP/Vista will only read one partition on that drive, namely the first. so unless the workaround is enacted, anything larger than 32Bg may be partitioned into 32Gb lumps, but after that the only partition then seen by the Operating System will be the first 32Gb computers! k
