Speaking of Aperture...
Do any of you know Michelle Dunn Marsh? She leads Aperture West. She is fabulous.
I spent time with her at the Silver Conference in Pasadena in April. If you don't know what the Silver Conference is, you should check it out. http://www.calumetphoto.com/silver
This is a conference that will be held in Boulder, Colorado next year. While it is a conference for users of traditional photography, it really is for all photographers and artists. Most of what is spoken of is the aesthetics of our art. Very worth while for anyone trying to gain perspective into photographic art and criticism.
Most of who is left of the western big names are there, John Sexton, Ray McSavaney, Reid Callanan, Director of the Santa Fe Workshops is there. Some speak, others just hang out. Lot's of discussion on all aspects of photography.
Just came to mind and seemed appropriate.
