Museki Abe (Goshikinuma) - Love that title. I have an NEC flat panel display that I cannot get even close to calibrated and everything is far brighter than is proper but even with that impediment, I still love the range of colors in this shot. Composition doesn't thrill me but the colors seem to be what the image is about so I can live with that.

Veli Cigirgan (Nedret) - At first I just liked the look of this person but then I noticed the Mona Lisa smile on her face. I can't really tell what she's thinking or what she's about to do although the even light and somewhat high key of the shot suggests a gentle subject. Still, I'm not too sure. Interesting.

Jim Davis (Lake Cowichan Inhabitant) - First off I like the shot. I like the way the line of whatever floating behind the raft creates a second horizon and is sitting just far enough up from the bottom of the raft. I find it amusing though that you call this another bird shot. I like to sort of de-focus my eyes and get a more abstract impression of photos and when I do that I don't even see the bird. Difference of perspective I suppose.

jIMMY Harris (doUble eXposure) - Aside from this scenery being half Canadian, it doesn't really speak to me. It does kind of make me chuckle though because it reminds me of looking through our box of family pictures when I was a kid and seeing all the double exposures and golden lens flare and light leaks that flourished as my father struggled to fill the box. Strangely though, no shots of Alberta.

Howard Leigh (Daniel loves yoghurt....) Ha! I've got the same shot but with farther ranging distribution and added cheerios. Got video too! How can you not smile?

C J R Strevens (As it used to be) - Chris I really enjoy seeing your more personal shots and reading your descriptions like this. Thank you for sharing.

Peeter Vissak (Madonna with the Child) - I like the way her hair flows down to her arm which brings me across the child, down her other arm to her hand then back into her hair and up to her head. The lines flow round and round. Its a good pose and I like the posterization. Good shot.

Pini Vollach (Monk) - This image more than any other makes me angry about my monitor. I like all the monochromatic shapes surrounding the central figure. I do with the steps were level though as it makes me feel uneasy with them slanting in the same direction the person's umbrella is leaning. Love the red circle in the jumble of blue and white.

Richard Wrigley (Le Havre Church Tower) - I could lay under that tower for hours just staring up. What a phenomenal place. Kind of looks like a Jeffries tube on the Enterprise or a Romulan engine room.

Thank you RIT elite for bringing us this display.
Bye.
