I'm about to develop 20 sheets of 4x5 Fuji Acros 100 in Diafine. Does anyone know how many sheets I can safely develop at once? I usually do 4 or 5 sheets at a time using hangers and tanks. How long does it take to exhaust the developer? I heard you can do a lot of film with one mix.

Thanks,
Bruce

Bruce,

Diafine being a two solution developer, I would assume it to have characteristics similar to other two solution mixes. I have used a two solution developer (not Diafine) and it safely develops the equivalent of 10 rolls of 120 film per liter (40 - 4x5 sheets) with no increase in development time.
Check the Diafine data sheet for info if you have it.

Hope this helps.......
