Actually, I had understood that digital was leading to something of a
renaissance in alternative printing processes -- it's so easy to make
a relatively large negative on an inkjet printer, which can then be
used to make the contact print in platinum or whatever.

Obviously that pathway won't help the alternative processes for
*originally* capturing an image.
