Thank you to Trevor & Per for comments & suggestions on my contribution to this week's gallery.

Marilyn Dalrymple - Shadow in a frame

I like this a lot Marilyn. There's a mysterious, painterly quality that's very appealing.

Russell E. Baker - Deb

Really nice light in Deb's eyes; judging by her warm expression, it's easy to see that there's chemistry between artist & model.

Jim Davis - Great Reed Warbler

Oh, nice catch! I can almost hear him singing. I've about 20 different local warbler recordings & can agree with you, they really do belt them out!

Bob Talbot - Spiderettes

Spiders are so *cute* when they're tiny...I like the rich greens and the prominent 'V' in your composition. ...Goes to find "Charlotte's Web" - thanks for the reminder!

Emily L Ferguson - approaching the windward mark

My favourite this week. Really captures the high tension & excitement of a sailing race. all those pointy masts and gaff rig (?) sails seem to want to burst out of the frame.

Rich Mason - Grain Bins

I like the big fields of blue and green. The grain bins make me feel sad... goes to get a hug...

Jim Snarski - Out of Kenya

Beautiful light. Beautiful creatures!

Trevor Cunningham - Red 7

Yum. This looks edible and delicious; like a fruit glaze; almost wish I hadn't read what it *really* is...

Don Roberts - Hierve el Agua

Oooh, Oaxaca...I'd like to see more please...this photograph is too tantalising.

Paresh Pandit - The Pole

I like this one Paresh. I'm curious: did the phone guy just go off and leave the box open like that...? is that the subject?

WRGill - Wildflowers and Driftwood

Wonderful grain in the driftwood WR. Good subject. I'd have been tempted to pluck those grasses sticking up in front.

thank you to all.
