If it were up to me, I'd opt for a portrait film (160 ISO, brand immaterial)
when shooting; then use a cyan filter over the neg in the darkroom to make
b/w prints.

I'm fairly certain a grainy overlay could be used to accentuate the pattern;
if memory serves, I have used a piece of Roscolux "Hamburg Frost" gel over
the print paper to achieve this effect.
