Babies often don't keep the hair color with which they're born. And red hair is such a special thing a color photograph would be a great thing to remember that by!

If you're going to use available light I'd still think a slow film would be desirable. You're going to get some grain no matter what you use, but I always thought Tri-X was for pushing, basically.
