HI Bob, First, thank you for replying. 1) please learn to SNIP OK 2) by pixellation. Are you applying a sharpen filter or an unsharp mask (or worse, neither) Neither. Didnt know what they were for or if I needed to use them. (Knew what they did from experimenting.) I plan to start using them immediately. 3) if it looks good before you send then crap on the web are you working on it in a space other than sRGB? If your PSP is defaulting to another colour space the web is almost exclusively sRGB viewed via all the browsers I've dealt with. You know, I dont have any information in PSP that I can find that addresses this sRGB. I will go to their website and inquire. Finally, aside. You didn't say how the scan. Is it a scanned print (flatbed), neg scanner or digital camera? I have a CHEAP HP flatbed that I just bought. The default scan is 200 lines per inch. The scans have looked real accurate.
