For me, yes it worth, both as academic excercise and real world
application. Who knows, someday in near future, core scheduler can be
really made dynamic? As you know, Linux I/O scheduler is already
switchable in runtime.

NB: thanks for correcting me about Lua... so much I have to  learn
about new languages.
