What can I use my N800 for?

If you have the fonts installed, yes.  IIRC the default set of fonts on
the N800 do not cover CJK, but installing a font is a simple as creating
a ~/.fonts directory and putting a .ttf file inside.  Or, preferably,
installing a package with the application manager.
