Grievous bug reporting error on my part. I have believed that my Open callbacks were not being made, that is incorrect. I have a policy of reporting every error via printk to never return without reporting. I missed a path. Bummed. I can't even depend on me it seems.

Anyway, the call to usb_autopm_get_interface() is failing beginning with the bisected kernel reported earlier. It is returning -11, the source of my Resource Temporarily Unavailable error. Now that I know what is failing, it is much less of a problem to solve.

Sorry for mis-reporting.
