In case you wouldn't know, few hints: first, the pc speaker controls may be on alsa, so you can use amixer to set that, just make sure you are configuring the "sysdefault" device, not the "default" if you use pulseaudio. And second hint is: In my case I also had one alsa control called automute that I had to disable before playing with pc speaker state/volume. Maybe it helps, maybe not, it's ofc possible there is just no related controls in your case on this nuc. But I definitely had to configure all this and then load pcspkr for it to work. > > PS.
