hello. My two cents is that it's worth developing Yasr further. Yasr runs on any version of Unix, in fact I use it every day on NetBSD systems and am typing this message from a Yasr equipped NetBSD system. I find Yasr to be stable, responsive and quite functional. In fact, for me, it just gets out of the way and lets me get my job done. -thanks -Brian On Oct 8, 12:25pm, Deedra Waters wrote: } Subject: Re: the push to get rid of CONFIG_VT in the kernel and the future } SSBsb3ZlIHNwZWFrdXAgYnV0IGkgdGhpbmsgaGVyZSBpcyB3aGVyZSBtYXliZSB3ZSBhIGxvb2sg } YXQgaGVscGluZyB3aXRoCnlhc3IgdG8gbWFrZSBpdCBhIGJldHRlciBzY3JlZW5yZWFkZXIsIGIs } IGhlbHAgd2l0aCBicmx0dHkgYW5kIGltcHJvdmUKaXQncyBzY3JlZW4gcmVhZGVyIGZ1bmN0aW9u } cywgb3IgYywganVzdCByZWludmVudCB0aGUgd2hlZWwuIFBlcnNvbmFsbHkKaXQgbWlnaHQgYmUg } d29ydGggaW1wcm92aW5nIG9uIHRoZSBleGlzdGluZyBzY3JlZW4gcmVhZGVycyBsaWtlIGJybHR0 } eQpvciB5YXNyIAotLSAKV2Vic2l0ZTogaHR0cDovL2RlZWRyYS50aGUtYnJhbm5vbnMuY29tCmJs } b2c6IGh0dHA6Ly9kZWVkcmEudGhlLWJyYW5ub25zLmNvbS9ibG9nCgpfX19fX19fX19fX19fX19f } X19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fX19fXwpTcGVha3VwIG1haWxpbmcgbGlzdApTcGVh } a3VwQGxpbnV4LXNwZWFrdXAub3JnCmh0dHA6Ly9saW51eC1zcGVha3VwLm9yZy9jZ2ktYmluL21h } aWxtYW4vbGlzdGluZm8vc3BlYWt1cAo= >-- End of excerpt from Deedra Waters _______________________________________________ Speakup mailing list Speakup@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://linux-speakup.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/speakup
