Instead of having someone do it for you, have them help you do it yourself. You probably don't need to know how to assemble a computer from scratch. But knowing how to replace a hard drive and RAM is a valuable skill. In some ways, being blind is an advantage because very often, when you're replacing parts, you can't see anyway.
