Hi Greg,

Yes!  It worked fine.  I can connect now!

I still have a couple questions.

Why is there not a /dev/ttyS0 file.  My Litetalk is on com1 in DOS and I am using it with Speakup on the same port fine.

How can you learn what commands are available, what they do, and what the options and switches are?  For example, the mknod command.  I like to know what things mean that I type.

What is a good source for learning Linux basics?
