When it tells you to manually enter your modem port, hit backspace to erase the 1, and type a 4 in its place, thus making your entry read /dev/ttyS4. Follow the rest of your configuration as you have before. You should be able to run ppp_on now. If it still doesn't work, let me know exactly what happens, including any errors.
