Ah, yes. I forgot that pure nm only shows internal symbols and not those exported by the library.

root@letux:~# nm -D /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libdrm.so | fgrep drmOpenRender
root@letux:~# 

So this means that the libdrm of Jessie is too old and I should try on stretch or newer.
