I subscribed to the acenic list and I was told there that the 620 should
support jumbo frames just fine, and that the response I got from Netgear
Support about them not supporting larger packets was just their own
drivers. The hardware supports it just fine (all according to the reponse
I got on the acenic list).

I have so far been unsuccessful in getting the card to work at all, I get
"Firmware not running". I hope to get this resolved shortly.
