Rebuilt with that line commented out, and the module loads again.

Tried with kdetv launched from command-line, the following was (the
only) problem visible in the output that it created - full text in
attachment in case it's relevant.

kdetv reported no error on-screen (just the message above). Perhaps
unsurprising that no channels were found.

Once more, I'd much appreciate your comments.

PS - timf, is your card actually an A16D? I appreciate you're in Oz, but
it seems to be behaving very differently.
