I tried with and without the patch, and I'm not getting as much as
with the previous kernel..

Doing a scan, with the dvb-apps scan utility, I get the following.
(the first channel isn't active, the second is. The status shows
more "0x01", but still fails").

>>> tune to: 57028615:8VSB (tuning failed)
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x00
WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
>>> tune to: 63028615:8VSB
>>> tuning status == 0x01
>>> tuning status == 0x01
>>> tuning status == 0x01
>>> tuning status == 0x01
>>> tuning status == 0x00
>>> tuning status == 0x01
>>> tuning status == 0x01
>>> tuning status == 0x01
>>> tuning status == 0x01
>>> tuning status == 0x00
WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!

The dmesg output from the module load shows this: ( the card is
recognized in the beginning, then says "bt878_probe: card
id=[0xd200dbc0], Unknown card")

I updated the bt878 file to add the Fusion2's PCI id, and got this in dmesg:
[   43.723082] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:05.1[A] -> GSI 17 (level,

But, it didn't effect the channel scan..
