I tried the hints given by FA-4, but I was not successful. Here is the
protocoll shown by "fax status":
Efax-Faxübertragung läuft...
Auftragsdateien werden alle 30 Sekunden überprüft.

/usr/bin/efax: Mon Sep  1 16:58:50 2008 efax v 0.9a-001114 Copyright 1999 Ed

efax: 58:50 opened /dev/ttyAGS3
efax: 58:50 failed ->
/home/marigold7/.local/share/gfax/spool/D_931816823/tmp.001
efax: 58:51 done, returning 3 (invalid modem response)

Who understands the error message? I do not know how to fix the problem.

Using Gfax I can choose between "Hylafax" and "Efax" as the fax transport
agents. I have installed Efax but not Hylafax. Do you know whether it is
better to use Hylafax?
