Hi all, I have the same problem with Agere SV92PP(11c10620 AGRSM) in Debian Etch. After I compile the source code successfully and insmod agrmodem.ko and insmod agrserial.ko, the following message appear in /var/log/message or dmesg. Oct 8 21:19:49 localhost kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0000:02:0c.0 (0000 -> 0001) Oct 8 21:19:49 localhost kernel: ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:0c.0[A] -> GSI 20 (level, low) -> IRQ 217 Oct 8 21:19:49 localhost kernel: agrsm: created 1 infos Oct 8 21:20:04 localhost kernel: ttyAGS3 at I/O 0xb400 (irq = 217) is a AgereModem Oct 8 21:20:04 localhost kernel: agrserial: Loading module Agere Modem Interface driver version 2.1.60.0.Linspire (2005-11-16) I conclude that the driver load normally. Then I use minicom and set serial device to /dev/ttyAGS3 and 115200 8N1. But when I type some AT command, there is no response from the modem. Before that, I try the modem in Windows and type the same AT command using 115200 8N1 and the modem responded. Is there anyone successful in using Agere SV92PP(11c10620 AGRSM) under Linux especially Debian Etch. Any hints will be appreciated.
