as shown by/proc/asound/codec0/codec#1Address: 1Vendor Id: 0x14f12c06Subsystem Id: 0x14f1000fRevision Id: 0x100000
What are the Linuxant support prospects for "Alan Purchase"<alan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> ??
Firas FYI on the AP.tgz stuffThe virtual software generated /proc/asound file system cannot betar packed directly. That is why the preliminary:$ cp -a /proc/asound APbefore packing with:$ tar cfz AP.tgz AP/
Included within /proc/asound there will be included:
card0 |-- codec#0 |-- codec#1
One of the codec#? files will have audio info (and will be obvious)and the other the modem info, if a modem chip is infact hosted.Usually it is the /proc/asound/card0/codec#1

Hi Marvin,
Thanks for your speedy reply.
1. The file you requested is attached.2. I don't run Windows and haven't done so for several years.3. The Install failed; the log file is attached.
Cheers, Alan.
