try using this attached .config

$ cd linux
$ cp /path/to/config-vexpress-kvm .config
$ make oldconfig ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabi-
$ make zImage ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabi-
