As a measure of it's importance to the UK national economy I looked up
Broadband and IPv6
in Hansard (proceedings of London parliament).
Broadband is a proxy for Internet speed and is mentioned in 124 debate
titles,
has 4027 spoken references, is in 47 written statements, and is the
subject of
one petition.
IPv6 is in four written statements, and that is it.
In any case, I think this exchange illustrates the need for more
subtlety in any new policy statement on this topic.
On that I agree.
