yes, it has been compelling cgns and nat44444 all the hell over the
place.  major win!

i wonder what we could do about that.  maybe feature parity, such as
dhcp options, classless, ...  the list goes on, and much blood has been
shed.  but we know so much better.  which is why after a quarter of a
century we have finally just passed 10% v6 on the backbone.

multicast, dnssec, ipsec, ipv6, ...  we are not good at making these
things operationally deployable.

now we will try to outlaw work on ipv4.  like that's gonna work.  but at
least it will push internet operations further out of the ietf.
