three different browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) only one (Firefox)
seems to have a menu that lets me save anything as a file: Firefox has a
"Save Page As" but I don't see a "Save". If I want to retrieve a page
without any helpful sniffing/transformation, I suppose I could use curl
or wget (curl vs Wget (haxx.se)
<https://daniel.haxx.se/docs/curl-vs-wget.html> (using WSL on Windows? )

Control-S works for me in both Firefox and Chrome (in the latter the
menu entry is nested below something like "other tools").

Also, I don't get how "save as" is different from "save"... I think it's
called that way because you get to choose the filename, that's all.
