Use Ethereal (or other H323-aware protocol analyzer). Look inside the H225 
"message". There is an attribute "ProtocolIdentifier". Its value shall be 
something like: 0.0.8.2250.0.X

X is the value of the H323 protocol. If it is 4 - then you have H323 v4.
