Gnugk 2.0.8 works fine with endpoints behind NAT, and has the config
options mentioned.

It's normal for GCF to show the public address.

I have never seen the registration problem you describe.

I think SupportNATedEndpoints=1 needs to be set.

On a side note:
I just noticed that Czar's router supports UPnP. I have recently added UPnP support to OpenH323.

The implementation uses the Intel Microstack and is currently in the OpenH323 CVS contrib section (fcurrentlylor windows only). There is a bit of work to compile as the intel code is free source open but not strictly open source (so you have to get the code builder from INTEL) and you will need the 'isvo' CVS Branch to compile.

Basically how UPnP works is that your NATed EP's detects the UPnP router and using XML messaging opens/closes the port forwards and masquerades the EP as being the routers internet IP address, so GNUGK thinks its a non NATed EP. You can host numerous EP's behind a single NAT box without having to configure anything. Most late model SOHO routers now support UPnP. For more info www.upnp.org
