1. There are (usually) two ports used by H.323: signalling and RAS.
    RAS port (H.323 defaul 1719/udp) is used to register with a gatekeeper.
    Signalling port (H.323 default 1720/tcp) is used to accept call signalling.
    GnuGk is using a different port (1721) by default to allow running
    other H.323 software (like ohphone) on the same machine (which requires 1720 port).

Jan: as this issude pops from time to time, maybe it would be a better
       idea to set the default port to1720?
