i think what he refers to is on the 3600 series of cisco you can do what they can ip2ip calling. in the traditional means, a call either comes in tdm side of cisco and goes out ip, or comes in ip and goes out tdm. in the ip2ip method, the calls can come in ip, have auth means, then be routed out to another ip termination point. i am not sure if this call is subject to double compression, comming in, reduced to tdm and then sent back out another port on the box. i think the only benifit of this feature is that you may be able to accept a call inbound on ip, play ivr, collect digits, and then route the call out ip again. a rather costly way of doing it i imagine. regards ray ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
