Hi Erling,

I believe you are referring to spacial IOS version which runs on Cisco 3660 VoIP
Routers. I've worked with that in the past, and GnuGK sees the IP2IP GW as a
regular endpoint, nothing special about it. The main idea of the IP2IP is the fact
that you can define a Dial-Peer with a transparent codec, which in term means that
you're doing H323 proxying without messing about with DSP's on the box.

You can achieve the same functionality using the Asterisk PBX software, and
configuring H323 Passthrough.

Has anyone used the Gnu Gatekeeper with the Cisco IP-TO-IP Gateway (H.323 Proxy)? Is it possible? Cisco says that it can be integrated with all gatekeepers that support "via-zones" (which is something they came up with)

Thanks in advance,

Erling Olaussen
