Asking your friends to help you cause a flamewar of slashdotish proportitions is no way to conduct reasonable debate, since when has sites like that where the barrier of entry to the debate requires zero amount of knowledge, zero amount of insight and to make matters worse the AC system ensures that uninformed nonsense and petty attacks are conducted without accountablity ever produced any kind of intelligent input. We are talking about a forum where random ignorant people under the moderation of other random ignorant people decide what is right and what is wrong. I can't tell you how often I've seen downright wrong posts modded +5, Insightful on slashdot. It's defies the scientific method, it's just.. well.. downright counter productive to rely on such metrics to get any kind of informed concensus. There is a reason why civilized debate relies on informed opinion rather than popular opinion. - David Nielsen -- Obligatory shameless blog plug - The GNOME commentary located at www.lovesunix.net/blog -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
