Bob and Joe, In someway I agree, At the last marketing meeting it was talked about that a mailing list for the magazine would be a good idea, especially for when the ask the editors section goes into effect. Also when small things are discussed that have multiple people replying I am sure with that traffic will pick up on the mailing list, and with new Marketing projects and ideas coming along, we came to the conclusion that it would be better if they were separated. Also while talking about small things related to the magazine and the Category's section, there were probably around 10-15 emails exchanged. I dont have the email anymore because keeping up with my email is a task in it self lol. One of the emails that was received basically came out and said "Great I am glad you guys have a plan can you stop emailing me ^.^" This is another reason why I think there should be a separate mailing lists for the magazine. A personal reason I like as well is organizing, this may not apply to a lot of people but when I get an email say from Marketing or Websites I can organize them better in my inbox based on that. I hope this helps clear up some confusion on why another mailing list was created. >>> "Robert 'Bob' Jensen" <bobjensen@xxxxxxxxx> 08/23/13 1:17 PM >>> I have to agree with Joe, the number of mailing lists and IRC channels started getting out of hand long ago and it keeps getting worse. Defaulting to open implies to me that we not only don't have private discussions but also do not obscure them. -- Bob On Fri, Aug 23, 2013 at 9:45 AM, Joe Brockmeier <jzb@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
