Whenever technically possible, we add our new Python macros to EPEL 7+.
Sometimes, we even backport them to plain RHEL 8+.

This can (and will) be done for the proposed "import test" macro.

I can assume the new import test macro will be included in Centos stream 9 macros, right?

However, the pyproject RPM macros use RPM features not yet available in RHEL 8,
so we won't be adding those.
