That’s why DoH is intrinsically centralized and rotten to the core. DoH supporters are perfectly happy with a world where there is no standard for delegation. In a nutshell, that's why IPV6 adoption has been lagging for all this time. It wants everything to be the internet, and deprecate things people found useful. Except that's not how actual people want to use their networks. So all the things that IPv6 authors rejected are slowly being standardized back because that's what people need.
