I'm not (and I don't think Randy is) saying _they're_ the problem. Commenting on an idea or project is *not* commenting on the person. Please do not imply I am doing so. There are communities where people attack people instead of the idea and those are toxic, unpleasant places. Fedora, thankfully, doesn't have too much of that. The problem Fedora has is that when you criticize a design or idea it's often conflated with a personal attack. Without feedback, how on earth are you going to make something anyone wants to use, though? I think this is in no small part responsible for the packaging experience we currently have. > If that's demoralizing... well, I don't know what to to tell you. If that means never providing constructive, critical reviews of that work, however, I'm not terribly interested in participating. _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
