No, no, no. I'm not (and I don't think Randy is) saying _they're_ the
problem. Commenting on an idea or project is *not* commenting on the
person. Please do not imply I am doing so.

There are communities where people attack people instead of the idea and
those are toxic, unpleasant places. Fedora, thankfully, doesn't have too
much of that.

The problem Fedora has is that when you criticize a design or idea it's
often conflated with a personal attack. Without feedback, how on earth
are you going to make something anyone wants to use, though? I think
this is in no small part responsible for the packaging experience we
currently have.

I too want to support doing things and exploring and contributing. If
that means never providing constructive, critical reviews of that work,
however, I'm not terribly interested in participating.
