Wait a moment, is n and n-1 defined to "installed from scratch n and n-1?".
Is this a precedent that n-installed is different than n-through-upgrades?


As far as I know this has been the case from Red Hat Linux 6.1 and all Fedora's. It is nice if it works (which it generally does) but there are too many little things which make it impossible to catch even a fraction of the outliers.
